Ember & Ink: A New Approach to Marketing

What is Ember & Ink?

It started with a weekend full of chaotic ideas, a creative fever dream, and the slow realization that I couldn’t build something meaningful without others. I’ve spent years trying to find my voice. This is it. And I’m giving it structure, stakes, and support by inviting others in.

Our version of accountability? Friendship.

Instead of shame-based productivity or public pressure, we’re building something rooted in care. I believe in taking the pressure off perfection and giving people room to experiment. Ember & Ink is my way of sharing that space with people who are tired of hustling alone.

Here’s what it actually is.

Ember & Ink is a Discord-based creative collective and job board. We’re a growing network of artists, designers, writers, editors, musicians, actors, marketers, and general creative chaos agents. Some of us are here to find work. Some are here to build things together. Some are just here to vibe until they’re ready.

What we do:

- Share paid gigs and volunteer opportunities from within the network
- Build original creative projects (podcasts, games, newsletters, etc.)
- Offer marketing and design services to artists, small businesses, and nonprofits
- Work on long-term projects under the Ember & Ink name
- Support each other’s weird, brilliant ideas

Is it paid?

Some opportunities are paid, some are volunteer-based. We post both in the server. We're also developing internal projects that could bring in revenue down the line, but right now we’re focused on building trust and making cool things together.
